(moist)dense is a physical performance and sound installation commissioned for the Museum of Artificial History exhibition. The work attempts to rethink the familiar Western anatomy of the Homo erectus, their movements, and bodily communication. Here, the human body is explored as a combination of physical, social, moral limitations and norms, a bi-product of individual trauma and imposed bodily transformations. Intruding the natural science museum environment, (moist)dense creates an opaque morphing space and challenges the very nature of ocularcentric attention modes.
